I'm mostly confused the size issue with EON's, like you mentioned. I'm 
really 
hedging about adding too much size to my acoustic rig. Did you get the 10" 
powered model? 

For those of you interested here's the JBL Freq. Response specs...
The EON 10" Powered             70 Hz - 16 Khz
The EON 10" Non-powered         70 Hz - 15 Khz
The EON 10" Powered             50 Hz - 20 Khz
The EON 10" Non-powered         60 Hz - 15 Khz

through 
Recycler online.  (For people new to the list, it's a good source for all 
kinds 
of goodies, including jammies, vortexes, etc.)
