Cheap 'Rangs?

I was in my favorite guitar store the other day, and
saw ye olde Boomerang at $349 for 1 min. I haven't
seen 'em this cheap before, and have been thinking of
asking Santa for one. He's also got the 4 min. for
$449.

Isn't the upgrade with SIMM's? Or am I off me rocker?
