I'll post this again, and he's a real nice guy. Even answered an e-mail 
question but he had no
solution to the question of defeating the 10 min auto shut down if you 
don't play a note every so
often. But he suggested useing batteries and leaving it running until the 
gig and that works great!
He also said to always use batteries when circut bending, heh good advice.
