Yes Virginia, there is a reverse mode in the looper.  I find it useful and
fun for the whole family.

Record a loop, punch the "Tap" button twice (gotta be quick), now your loop
is going backwards.  (Look ma, I'm Jimi Hendrix)
Overdub a new line, reverse it again, now your orignal is back to normal 
and
the overdub is reversed.

Combine this with pressing "Tap" once (half speed/full speed toggle) and 
you
can do quite a number of wacky tricks -- tripped out backward loops at half
speed (Look ma, I'm Jimi on acid -- wait, is that redundant?)
