If there's actually a s/w upgrade when will it become available to the
EDP community at large? I'd really like that + speed feature as well
as visible controller update on the display... What other new tricks
are going to be happening?

as I understand it from various chats on LD there is _no_ new plex
same hardware but software upgrade

the good news is that we will be able to buy it cheaper than on
Ebay...
