Right now, I loop alone, but that's mostly because I don't personally know 
very many similar-minded musicians here (in San Francisco); even though 
this 
is supposed to be some sort of experimental music capital, most of the 
local 
musicians I've met either make grating cacphonous noise, are really into 
the 
goth scene, or have no idea what experimental music is, and the only local 
guy I've worked with is 40 miles north, and I don't have a car, so as you 
can see, it's more of a situation thing than a choice, but I'd love to 
meet 
other musicians locally, and don't worry because I don't always talk in 
run-on sentences,
