Maybe you ought to pick up a history book sometime. The Cold
War started with Truman right after WWII. Reagan's policies
actually brought an end to the Cold War and the Soviet Union.

BTW, technically 'The Great Butter Battle Book' is a
metaphor, not an analogy.
