I've never used hotmail so I don't know if this
would work for you, but...

Set up a filter using "looper" as the keyword so that
everything from LD goes to its own folder. Delete the
contents of the folder as often as you like. Go to
the LD archives to actually read the posts that
interest you. You can sort them by date, thread, or
author.
