Revox is king but had a Tandberg ½ track, never did any tape looping with 
one but they do master pretty well. 
Another brand is Scully.

 Anyone agree with me and still prefer a good analog hifi VCR decks warmth 
over 16-20 bit @ 44.1k digital recordings?
