Digitech 2120 and looping (Belewps)

Hey boys and girls,

I heard (not sure where) that the Digitech 2120 did on the fly sampling
and backward loopage ala Adrian Belew's "Belewps"  I recently upgraded my
2112 to a 2120 v2.1, but I can't find a mention of these effects anywhere
in the manual or on line.  Anyone have any info on such things?
