My understanding of the Sound degradation situation with MD is that it only
becomes a problem when multiple generations are created.  That is, if you
were to save the EDP to the MD back and forth a few times.
But since I'm being serious here, how about Cool Edit or Sound Forge in a
shareware capacity?
