I don't know what Gilmore is using but I use a zoom 9030 for
that sort of thing. It has a "hold" function for the reverb! Sort of a reverb
loop. U need a 9050 foot controller with an expression pedal to make it
happen but it is so soft and nice (can you tell I love my zoom?)

Subject: Effects question
Hello;
I heard a
solo acoustic performance the other day by Pink Floyd's
David Gilmour. In it he used a nice effect where he would strum his
acoustic guitar, and the chord would resonate in a very floaty, organ-like
way allowing him to noodle over the chords. What kind of pedal might
allow this?
Thanks!
Mike
