there was a manual. i never used or needed one, but a friend on mine just got an eh-16 with manual. he photocopied it for me. still haven't looked at it.

sampling rate?? dunno. wasn't it 8-bit (or less)?

I don't think there was a manual.  It's pretty basic.  I'll try to answer
