Audio Mulch for Live Performance

Has anyone used Audio Mulch live? I am planning to here
fairly soon-running it on a 1ghz laptop--any issues one
might need to look out for? I have noticed that it is fairly
easy to overload it and get some nast digital sounds-any
suggestions on how this can be avoided?
