I talked to a local music dealer who've I dealt with for years (Greg @ 
Buddy
Roger's for anyone in Cincinnati), and he told me that Whirlwind's Selector
is TRS A/B-A+B (confirmed from a Whirlwind tech):

They ordered me one, and I'll let the group know how/if it works.

I'm also keeping an eye out for a used Uptown Flash unit.
