it looks like a work around (but burns another track):

1.4.8 Record Track advance selection MIDI CC/PC A new CC/PC is provided 
to allow the user to advance to the next possible track for recording with 
a single 
MIDI event. This simplifies MIDI setups.

it doesn't say if this will work on to set loop length, though...
