[ Best viewed using a fixed spacing font. ] EMUSIC, an electronic, ambient, and space music show, airs each Thursday at 11:04 pm on WDIY 88.1 FM, Allentown and Bethlehem, PA and 93.9 FM in Easton, PA and Phillipsburg, NJ. Show #246 December 6, 2001. RECAP: ======================= ======================== ============================== On this show, I began a month-long focus on Orbital Decay, a band from near-by Quakertown. Influenced by the likes of Tangerine Dream, Klaus Shulze, and Pink Floyd, Orbital Decay makes electronic space music with the improvisational and energy of fusion styles from the 70's. As a special holiday treat, Orbital Decay will perform a live, in-studio, on-air concert during the December 27th program. The Featured CD at Midnight was the band's self released CDR "Drastic Park." The vinyl show starter, a new feature of the show leftover from WDIY's Salute to Records, was by Tim Blake.
