Hmmmmm.... I use Monsters on everything: my basses, my pedalboard and 
rack(the short 6 and 12" patch cables) and speakers and really love them.  
I 
have tried George L's and they are also very good.  But, I had one ( and 
only one) Monster crap out on me.  Took it back to the store and got a new 
one...no questions, no hassles.  To me that is worth the extra expense.
