I have the AKG K240 Monitor phones which I really like but they are not 
closed and I cant use them when I 
mix live sound in concert settings. However, the K240DF (which may be what 
you are referring to) is closed,
I believe. Unfortunately I have not used them. They are the big brother to 
mine and supposedly wonderful...
