OT: RAM based sampler soft

Hello-

 

I have aquired a very old computer which runs great and has DOS installed- and a whopping 3712KB of RAM. I read awhile back about a sampler software that would run in DOS and keep running in RAM even if the hard drive died- just curious if anyone knows of this or related programs- thanks.
