Thanks for the info. I stopped at a nearby Guitar Center (why not change the name to music center?) in hopes of a/b comparing them (Mackie SRM 450) against the Eon 15s, and I came to the exact same conclusion that you did! So much better, not even a contest. And that with a pair of metal guitarists finding the volume output of a Marshall amp. You can always count on some things. $625/ea? where did you get that price?
