close. Lol Crème did develop it. There were production models for both guitar and bass. The version Lol used was different from the production model. The gizmo was used on most of 10cc's material. Songs like "old wild men" show it off quite well. He used it live as well, but from what I was told it was hard to tame. the production model, especially for guitar, wasn't great, or so I've heard.
