I have to say, as an owner of two SRAM 450s, I would NEVER use them as studio monitors. They're great sounding speakers, but IMO they really don't have the subtlety of a good studio monitor, and any speaker that uses a horn to disperse high frequency information isn't going to give you a great idea of what the stereo sound field is like.
