They seem to be the most frequently recommended, but they are not "true" or "flat". They're great for tracking because they offer reasonable isolation and are bright and LOUD. I wouldn't mix on 'em. But then again...I wouldnt' mix on headphones. I've rarely screwed up mixes as well as when I tried to mix using headphones instead of monitors.
