Just saw Tommy Emmanuel last night
at a small theater here in Memphis...
(actually Bartlett, a suburb)
Don't miss this guy if he comes anywhere
near you....  absolutely phenomenal guitarist.
He has taken mastery of the guitar to a new level,
and I've seen McLaughlin, Hedges..others...
He used a delay unit of some kind for one
extended piece that had a lot of percussion
and very controlled soundeffects that he was
getting out of his acoustic guitar.
You need to see this guy in person and see
"how" he plays the instrument.....  the closest
to an extension of the human body and mind
that I've ever seen.
