You'd have to replace the switches with latching ones.
The big plastic "switches" that you see press onto small 
pressure switches on the circuit board.

Or perhaps easier to put latching switches in parallel 
with the current ones, because you need the non-latching ones 
to get full functionality on the patch changes.

Or work out some sort or mechanical way of holding the 
existing switches in place.

Or you can remove the spring from the existing switch,
making it far easier to hold it down.
