my son (2 yrs old) has a ton of toy guitars that various relatives 
have bought for him in the past year. they are fun to "play" in to 
pickups of my
guitar and then loop, manipulate (most have varous li'l melodies from 
songs etc). i haven't recorded any of it yet, just experimented, but 
it's fun.
the best one is this tiny li'l sesame street guitar that has a pitch 
control and a whammy bar. w/ the pitch control you can make li'l 
strange sliding melodies, etc (of all of them, it's one that's 
actually an instrument in a strange li'l toy way....)
