I think these may have been the pair of units I had in the mid-1980's. Decent at the time. I just recovered a bunch of tracks that I recorded on my Yamaha 4-track and other than some musically embarrassing moments (including a truly bizarre political diatribe), the sound quality surprised me at how good it was. On the other hand, it definitely wasn't up to digital quality.
