You're right, putting in a proper ground made my power strips "ground" light come on, but didn't fix the hum. Maybe it's finally time to invest in a power line filter? Anyone have luck with them? I'm a little cautious of peeing around the perimeter of my apt, with the landlord living on the ground floor. Maybe a little salty water would do?
