Hi all

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who chipped in with an explaination 
of 
XLRs and some differant models to look at.

Have decided that i need to go to the city and test a few out at the 
weekend, at least i feel i have a starting point now,cos, dont you just 
hate 
it when the assistant in a music shop asks if you need help and you kind 
of 
go on a five minute incoherent rant dropping in the 
words................mic...............errrr...........headset.................errr...........not
 
to expensive............errrr............and so on.

Will report back and tell you how i get on.
