Chasing the Loop--MIDI

Hi--
I have been getting some good results having the Lexicon MPX G2 "chase the
loop", that is, set the delay times by MIDI clock sent from an EDP--the
D-Two wasn't as good at this.  What devices are others using that are
pleasing in this regards?
