girlfriend uses cubase on her g4 powerbook, and gets in&out of it with a tascam thing that looks like a mixer and hooks into the usb. me, I hate this type of set-up, but it works for here. she uses ableton in the background w/ rewire and oms holding it all together. I think the tascam box is pretty well integrated w/ cubase though. it's a us-428. shame it doesn't have flying faders, it'd be /really/ cool then.
