Hey, this guy was my video professor in college! http://www.audiovisualizers.com/toolshak/vidsynth/sherman/sherman.htm very cool guy. Video processing via audio gear? Won't happen. Many have tried. One word: Sync. Fuck that up and you no longer have video. However, there are cool software programs out there as well as some cool hardware that will do interesting stuff. Try a google of "live video effects" and check out this: http://www.vjcentral.com/hardware/show/8205 Mark On Jun 1, 2004, at 6:30 PM, Suit & Tie Guy wrote: > On Jun 1, 2004, at 10:16 PM, Jesse Ray Lucas wrote: >> So I had this idea the other night to take a video signal and run it >> through some audio processors, but I didn't know if the signal would >> damage devices meant to process guitar level signals. > > i don't think you can damage anything doing this. however, i am > definitely inexperienced with video synthesis.
