As most of you probably know, it's much easier to make noise than it is to damp it. $500 will get you a brand-new 200W bass amp which will cost you more than $5000 to soundproof against -- perhaps a LOT more. >Too bad some scientists think nothing of using technology in this >sort of destructive manner! this is nothing -- they have some crazy stuff now (things that heat the surface of your skin with a beam remotely, for example) in the "non-lethal weaponry" category.
