You will have tons more options, but be aware that the midi implementation on the Echo Pro will not allow you to setup midi pedals that respond EXACTLY like the DL4, especially in regards to the 'record/overdub' button. You can only get this to happen if your midi controller can toggle two different CC commands for each press of the button. I'm using a Behringer pedal, and I've always been frustrated by how the record function operates. Your mileage may vary. Best of luck and enjoy your new Christmas present! As all of my looping is done live I need a foot controller to replace the DL4 switches, four buttons with programmable program change output. Ideally I'd like to have a small unit, most of the MIDI controllers I've seen have eight or more buttons and take up a lot of floor space. Can anyone recommend a small MIDI foot controller? Ta. Rev.
