Also strongly recommend “The Legend of 1900,” with Tim Roth, if you can find it. I think they’ve stopped distributing it in the US, but it shows up on cable TV every so often. A beautiful film about music.

In short, it's a documentary about nomadic herders in Mongolia: yurts,
Gobi Desert, big furry camels, etc. One of their camels gives birth to
a colt that she rejects, so the herders call for a violinist to come
and perform the reuniting ritual...
