The EDP Multiply was originally conceived as an extended overdub.
So to switch in and out of OD while Multiplying isn't part of the original 
deal.

In Loop3 the function you want is unsupported unless you use Loop/Delay = 
dEL

In Loop4, set loop/Delay= In (that's the "Interface Mode")
Now you can use  a feedback pedal to control the input volume.

Or, you could replace the pedal with a switch.

You can't control Input volume by Midi, that's a restriction of the 
hardware.

sorry, can't do that.

Re-entering a loop always puts you in either "Play" or "Overdub",
depending on what whether you were in Overdub before you left that loop.

if you want foot control of feedback you'll have to use MIDI here
