Electrix Repeater

My dissertation work has kept me out of the loop (and into the lurk)  
for almost a year now. I resubscribed to the list a few weeks ago,  
but haven't seen much about the Repeater. My mails to Electrix have  
all received the same "more info within the next few weeks" response.  
Does anyone have any more concrete information?
