Well, I think I have it working now. Not sure exactly what did it, but I reset the FCB again, powered everything off and on, and everything seemed to work fine. The only think I can see that I did differently was power everything off and back on again after resetting the FCB. I'm not using the MIDI splitter either, and it still works fine. Now I can start tapping into those hidden features. The first thing I setup was the half-speed function. Anything else cool I can do now that I'm controlling the EDPs with MIDI? This is a whole new world for me now. I like the feel of those FCB buttons too....not nearly as touchy and fragile as the Gibson controller pedals. If you have a MIDI keyboard, try sending appropriate notes from it and see if both machines will respond properly. (Try it first without the MIDI splitter - just the keyboard into the "in" of the master and the "out" of the master into the "in" of the slave [and with the brothersync].)
