You're talking to a man who loves to do black and
white photography... ok, I also have a really nice
looper too. ;)  Don't worry, it will come in time. 
Maybe put aside the idea of a couple of EDPs and try
for a more modestly priced Boomerang or used JamMan...
I loved my JamMan.
