The Sidstation looks to be a thousand dollar bit of dedicated hardware.  I'm looking for a software emulator to run my C-64 music programs that supports MIDI in and out, for free.

Until then Travis, check out a Sidstation from
Elektron.  I have their MONOMACHINE and I love it.
(also with C64 emulation)  Expensive gear but so
quirky and cool, you'll dig it.
