Not so. Not so. For example, there was once a viable thriving black
community in Pittsburgh in the early-middle part of this century up until
around the early 60's. There were great black owner restaurants, bars where
many, many black (and some white) musicians played (e.g. Billy Eckstine),
black businesses. The econmic plight of blacks and the situations in many of
the northern US cities became exacerbated in more recent times due to a
variety of reasons. I think one of the current ones is the lack of jobs that
pay a reasonable wage and the offshore outsourcing of manufacturing jobs.

And the assertion of "the good old days only existing for white people" is a
ridiculous assertion anyway. Things were pretty shitty for Christians during
the Roman era. Things were shitty for a variety of peoples throughout the
ages. So what? What do we have to do with that?
