ALWAYS actually ;-)

The Intel based laptop I bought in november was ordered from a small
company that provide extremely good support to businesses on a
personal level. The people that work there know which components work
well when combined into a PC, and they warn you if you order a
combination that is not well documented as "good". The prices are not
as low as the "cheapo supermarket laptops" but the insurance they
offer is something I could never get from a consumer retail company.
Software-wise I can not think about better personal service/support
than OS (Augustus Loop), Jesse (SooperLooper) and Jeff (Mobius). I
have many times seen my wishes implemented into the the software, on
some occasions overnight. Can you ask for more? Yes, actually, you
can. You can ask for easy methods to change the software by your own
hands - tweak it to suit your vision - and this is actually possible
by the scripting functionality in Mobius. As for the "bigger"
software I'm using, Ableton Live and Logic, I'm usually getting a
fairly quick response whenever I report a bug, post a wish or suggest
some change (although that's because I'm engaging in planned beta
programs that cost me some precious time but hopefully will help the
tools getting better).
