Best thing I can say about the EDP--
You can customize it for your needs, be they simple sample playback (and
beyond!) or LaFosse style freeform glitch.
What it lacks (stereo, multitrack, USB and Firewire) is moot.  It still 
does
stuff no other looper does--and you can set it up to do what you want it 
to.
Gotta say tho, it does best when you have a good MIDI controller hooked up
to it.
