GT-5 vs VF-1

Hey, Sonic Explorers!

I've been intrigued by recent posts about the Boss GT-5. Since I'm 
starting to find the rackmount form factor annoying as hell, I need to 
know:
is there anything my VF-1 can do that the GT-5 cannot? Put another way, 
would I be giving anything up by using a GT-5 instead?
