Some of my skills are clearly pro level, but that's not the same thing as actually making a living at it. I've had some excellent worldwide exposure for both my music-related writing (in Guitar Player, Electronic Musician, etc.) and software (SlowGold), but none of it has translated into much interest in my music. My current plan is to transition to training corporate programmers 2 weeks each month. I've given up expecting income from music - my goal at this point is to simply have 1 uninterrupted week each month to devote to creative endeavors. Warren
