gosh that is so funny....i fried my FCB1010 when i was in the UK. the replacement pedal i got over there is one of the switchable ones (when you use it on US power, you take out the fuse box, insert appropriate fuse and flip the box around)i got the exact US fuse specified by behringer but...in the UK the pedal is quiet. in the US the pedal has a hum!
i was just troubleshooting this when lo and behold, the subject pops up on loopers-delight.

I'm assuming this is acoustic noise. tap it gently with y'r best foot-controller foot forward, on the top near where the mains lead goes in. d.
