Line 6 Echo Pro in Loop Sampler mode - feedback control?

It's not clear from the manual whether this box has a feedback control 
for overdubbing in the looping mode.  Can anyone here comment?  At a 
glance, it seems like a straight phrase-sampler.  Am I correct?
