What I think is, the way to keep loops interesting....is the same way as keeping music interesting: The four elements for me: 1) Dynamics 2) Pitch 3) Velocity 4) Texture Doesn't matter if it is a loop or an unaccompanied solo....keep the above mixed up and interesting and all your bases are covered.....
