question: midi-switches to switch audio ?

hi all!

in my live looping setup i have 3 string instruments and 4 mics
connected to a mixer. i would like to mute/ unmute them with
something like a midi switch. is it possible to switch audio channels
with a midi switch like nobels ms 4 connected to the inserts?
